Bull-Nose Live Centers, Taper # 2MT, Small End 7/8, Large End 2-3/8
The essential parts of a Bull-Nose Live Center are the head, shank, and point.
The head is the largest part and consists of a collar for mounting it in your machine spindle.
The shank connects to the spindle and is where you’ll find the bearing that provides support and enables smooth rotation as well as hole geometries for locating screws.
The point is what actually touches the workpiece and can be either straight or conical.
